In March of 2012, I took a train all the way from Chicago to Seattle. It was a 2-day train ride, and then I spent 4 days in Seattle. I did it on my own, and it was a blast! I got to see cool stuff from the train (like lots of snow and ice in Glacier National Park!) and I fell in love with Seattle. I’m glad I was able to take Ricky back to visit the following year. Seattle’s a really great place that I plan to visit again.

This is from one of my first trips to New York City. What a fun and interesting city! It’s a little bit overwhelming for a Midwestern girl, but I love big cities too. There’s always something going on in this city. My only real opportunities to check it out were while Electric Zoo was also going on, so I’d love the chance to see even more of it someday. There’s a lot there to see!
