Right before we moved to Arizona, Ricky and I got a Groupon for a hotel in Niagara Falls. I had been there as a kid and vowed to go back someday, and I wanted Ricky to see it too. It was fun seeing the grandeur of the falls again, and we checked out some other fun things too while we were there. 2012 was a really busy year for traveling!

In March of 2012, I took a train all the way from Chicago to Seattle. It was a 2-day train ride, and then I spent 4 days in Seattle. I did it on my own, and it was a blast! I got to see cool stuff from the train (like lots of snow and ice in Glacier National Park!) and I fell in love with Seattle. I’m glad I was able to take Ricky back to visit the following year. Seattle’s a really great place that I plan to visit again.

Ricky and I have been to Electric Zoo in New York City a couple of times now. It’s held over Labor Day weekend every year, and it’s a total blast. So many great DJs! I hope we get to go back again sometime.
