Six Bands for Six Bucks is a concert event that Ricky used to put on in Indianapolis. He did it several times and was really starting to learn the ins and outs to a successful event right before we moved. It was a great way to get to know some local bands, plus where else can you get to see six bands for only $6?

Ricky and I have been to Electric Zoo in New York City a couple of times now. It’s held over Labor Day weekend every year, and it’s a total blast. So many great DJs! I hope we get to go back again sometime.

Back in Indianapolis, they have this event called the Feast of Lanterns. It’s held at a park, and basically, well, they hang lanterns up everywhere. It looks lovely during the day and gets even more beautiful at night when they light them all up.
