It’s been a while since I talked about Neil Gaiman on my blog. If you are new here, you might not know about my fascination with this man and his work. He’s my favorite author and probably always will be. I’ve written multiple blog posts about him since I first got my hands on one of his novels, including reviews of his books, an account of a book signing I went to where I briefly met him, and even an open letter to Mr. Gaiman (which he’s seen, he confirmed this on Twitter after I posted it). I think his books are wonderful, and the man himself is simply a gem. There’s even a poem he wrote that I’d like to have read at our wedding when Ricky and I eventually get married.

Last weekend I took a trip to Disney World. I’ve been an annual passholder there since we moved to Florida at the end of 2016. I’ve taken a trip there for MLK Jr. Day every year since. It’s a good weekend to go – nice weather, and I get the holiday off from work. So I’ve just always taken advantage of it for a trip up to see the mouse. I did the same again this year. But while Disney World is HUGE, and I’ll likely never really see it all, I have seen and done a lot of things there since I’ve been a passholder in the last 2 years. So I tried to make my trip a bit different this time.

I’ve actually had an Apple Watch for quite a while now. I got one not too long after they first came out, after all the hype had died down a bit. That was in 2015. It’s very handy to have both for notifications, small tasks, and health tracking. It replaced the Misfit that I had been using. Apple has since then come out with 3 different upgrades in hardware. The one I had was a Series 1, and since then there has been Series 2, 3, and 4. The Series 4 just came out last September. The Series 1 that I had got the job done, but was slow and frustrating to use at times. And then I got a crack in the side of it somehow. But it still worked, and I kept using it.
